EMERGING LOCAL TALENTS PROGRAM

The Emerging Local Talents (ELT) program targets Egypt-based, aspiring designers and filmmakers, who wish to develop their careers in design and filmmaking and enhance their creative portfolio by receiving mentorship from established practitioners in the creative industry. In doing so, each designer collaborates with a filmmaker to collectively produce a design-film. The 2020-21, 5-month program of workshops, round table discussions and film screenings were led by design and film mentors and speakers, who guided the participants through all aspects of their film production. This included everything from concept development and shooting to editing and post-production.
