Ramses Nosshi studied architecture at Texas Tech University and obtained his master’s degree in passive solar architecture at the University of Arizona. Following his return to Egypt, Nosshi worked on several freelance design/ build projects as well as the restoration and conservation of various buildings such as the Gayer Anderson Museum in Cairo and Habib Gorgy museum at Wissa Wassef Art Center. In 2007, Nosshi co-founded MADA Architects, a design-build studio focusing on innovative methods of using local and natural materials to create contemporary, environmentally conscious, and contextually well-adapted spaces.
