The short film follows the journey of Abdel Sabour, a 20-year-old photographer who lives in Qena, a governorate in Upper Egypt, and creates photographic images of “Al-Marmah”, a horse dancing festival that takes place yearly in Upper Egypt. Isolated from the city and struggling between village mores and the cultural openness of his generation, Abdel Sabour travels from one city to another, modernly dressed, to watch movies at the cinemas, listen to rap artists and skateboard. His dream is to become a cinematographer, study abroad and find his true self.
