Q&A Following the Screening of “Loving Gio Ponti”

Film Director: Francesca Molteni graduated with a degree in philosophy from the University of Milan and studied film production at New York University. Since 2002, Molteni has produced and directed documentaries, TV formats and videos, and curated design exhibitions. In 2009, she founded MUSE Factory of Projects, a production company based in Milan. In 2012, she received the Award for Innovation assigned by the President of the Italian Republic and the Compasso d’Oro honorable mention. In 2013, Molteni was awarded the Cathay Pacific Award for women entrepreneurs. She is a contributor to Vogue and Casa Vogue Italy, GQ, Elle Decor, IlSole24Ore; she is also the author of the book Oggetti d’impresa (Objects of Enterprise), Carocci (2016). In 2017, Molteni co-curated with Maria Cristina Didero “SuperDesign”, a film about Italian radical design, promoted by R&Company Gallery and produced by MUSE.

Moderator: Silvia Robertazzi, having a strong background in art history, established MiCue Milano Design and partnered with Antonella Dedini in cofounding the Milano Design Film Festival. Prior to which, she was the managing editor of various publications, including Case da Abitare, AtCasa.correre.it and Casamica, and worked as a journalist at some of the most prestigious Italian entities including Elle Decor, Io Donna and Casa Vogue. Born and raised in Milan, the city has inspired Robertazzi on so many levels and grew her passion for “Contemporaneousness”.
