“(De)constructing Koshari: A Workshop in Food and Design”

Join us for a two-day workshop where participants will embark on a journey to reflect upon, deconstruct, and transform their perspective on a familiar local dish, Koshari. We will delve into the fascinating intersection of food and design thinking. Through a series of engaging exercises, participants will deconstruct personal memories associated with the dish and explore its sensory components — taste, color, texture, and shape. From ingredient selection to plating, attendees will reimagine every step of the culinary process.
