Join us for a special pop-up screening of "After the End of the World" by Nadim Mishlawi, a captivating creative documentary that reflects on the aftermath of loss and the complexities of Beirut's urban landscape.
"After the End of the World" is the memoir of a filmmaker's experiences in Beirut, delving into the city's urbanism beyond its political landscape. Through contrasting images of ruins and modernity, the film becomes a portrait of a city on the verge of perpetual disappearance.
The screening will be followed by a discussion featuring Tamer El Said (Filmmaker), Omar Nagati (Architect/ Urbanist; Principal & Co-founder of CLUSTER), moderated by Ahmed Nabil (Cineaste).
